The investment statistics unit develops sustainable measures of investment performance which combine social media analytics and responsible investment aspects that precisely and reliably assess the long term returns and downside risks investors are facing. Based on this, Sociovestix provides not only its competence and expertise but also dedicated headcount in the field of artificial intelligence and computer science to oekom research in order to develop and support a future-oriented evaluation of ESG-rated research data.

The Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen (Association of German Foundations) protects the interests of the foundations in Germany from the general public, politics and public authorities. Its task is to make sure that the foundations can effectively carry out their tasks and achieve their goals set for the future. This implies efforts to further improve the legal framework pertaining primarily to foundation law and foundation tax law and to maintain a foundation-friendly climate.

CDP (former Carbon Disclosure Project)

CDP is an independent not-for-profit organisation which holds the largest database of corporate climate change information in the world. The data is obtained from responses to CDP’s annual Information Requests, issued on behalf of institutional investors, purchasing organisations and government bodies. Benefiting from an cooperation oekom research uses these data for its research.

European Business and Biodiversity Campaign

The European Business and Biodiversity Campaign (EBBC), led by the Global Nature Fund (GNF) was initiated by a consortium of European companies and NGOs. The goal of the project is to show the big importance of biodiversity, also from an economic point of view, and to motivate the private sector for the protection and conservation of biodiversity and ecosystem services.

Global Reporting Initiative

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is a network-based organization that has pioneered the development of the world’s most widely used sustainability reporting framework. The GRI Sector Supplements provide specialised guidance in addition to the universally applicable core GRI guidelines and constitute a key part of the reporting framework. oekom research takes part in the multistakeholder working group on a GRI Oil & Gas Sector Supplement to contribute to a more focussed and comparable sustainability reporting in the sector.

Initiative for Sustainable Use of Paper

On 23rd August 2000 German companies of most different industry sectors formed an unequalled alliance in order to strongly enhance the acceptance of recycled paper – the "Initiative Pro Recyclingpapier". The members are convinced that due to the world-wide growing demand for paper and tight resources, the future potential of recycling paper is by far not utilised.

Katholische Sozialakademie Österreichs - KSOE

The KSOE is an organisation of the Catholic Church in Austria. It offers a distinguished programme on social politics, political adult education and organisational development as well as a training course and a website on the topic „ethical investments“. oekom research supports this programme.

Style Research

Style Research is an independent international provider of global Style, Risk and Performance analysis services for investment portfolios, mutual funds and securities markets. The company was formed in 1996 and, with offices in London, Boston, Chicago, Montreal and Toronto and representatives across South East Asia and South Africa, currently serves a client base of over 300 international investment institutions in 24 countries. In December 2014, Style Research has integrated and made available oekom research’s ESG data and ratings on the Style Research Enterprise platform.




The corporate sustainable and responsible research sector continues to expand due to increasing popular interest in socially responsible investments throughout Europe. At the same time pressure on corporate responsibility research groups to raise quality and be transparent and professional has grown. At the end of 2004, the association ARISE (Association for Responsible Investment Services), therefore, has been created to develop and promote high professional standards for organisations in the field. oekom research is a founding member of the organisation and committed to its own and the standard ARISTA®. As one of the first rating agencies, oekom research has been certified against this standard in March 2009. 

Corporate Responsibility Interface Center - CRIC

Being an ethical/ecological investor community, CRIC acts upon the most comprehensive set of criteria in the world, especially developed for the ethical rating of companies - the Frankfurt-Hohenheim Guidelines (FHG). oekom research has put the guidelines into practice by developing its Corporate Responsibility Rating.

European Sustainable and Responsible Investment Forum - Eurosif

Eurosif is a pan-European group whose mission is to address Sustainability through Financial Markets. Current member affiliates of Eurosif include pension funds, financial service providers, academic institutes, research associations and NGO's.

Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen - FNG

Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen (German Social Investment Forum) is the umbrella association for ethical ecological capital investments in German-speaking countries. oekom research is one of the founding members of Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen.   

Forum pour l'Investissement Responsable - FIR

The FIR, launched in 2001, is the French membership network for sustainable and responsible financial services.  

Principles for Responsible Investment

The United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) aim to help investors to integrate environmental and social criteria into investment decision-making and ownership practices. Up to now, over 1,300 institutional investors and asset managers have signed the PRI and committed themselves to a responsible investment. The PRI were developed by a group of investment professionals, experts from intergovernmental and governmental organisations, civil society and academia coming together at the invitation of the former UN Secretary-General, Kofi Annan. oekom research supports this initiative.

UK Sustainable and Responsible Investment Forum - UKSIF

The UK Social Investment Forum (UKSIF) is the UK's membership network for sustainable and responsible financial services. UKSIF promotes responsible investment and other forms of finance that support sustainable economic development, enhance quality of life and safeguard the environment.
The Forum was launched in 1991 to bring together the different strands of sustainable and responsible financial services within the UK and to act as a focus and a voice for the industry.
